The third day of our visit was dedicated to an overview of contemporary exhibition practices. The displays at the University Museum of Natural History in Bergen provided us with some examples of how to mix new technology with artefacts.
There were also examples of blending styles, where it is possible to show works by contemporary artists along with the museum’s historical resources.
It was especially interesting for us to observe the innovative solutions for multi-media and installation exhibitions within an institution dedicated to showing history items.
